Default adding a turbo to my 94

ive been told that the kit they make is belt driven because its hard to mount the exhaust driven one but i dont know if i belive it i want to turbo my truck because its slow as a snail on a turtles back i think i can just fabricate pipes and mounts any feedback on turboin a naturally aspirated would be nice thanks

no need to fab up stuff. look up ATS, Banks, or Hypermax. all three make turbo kits.

u can sometimes find used kits for around 700 bucks. just make sure they are complete.

i am running the stock Factory installed turbo off a 94 IDIT. was made for ford by ATS.

I have never seen a belt driven turbo on an IDI.

nope, all the turbo kits use the stock manifolds in their proper locations. nothing has to be done to the engine to bolt on the turbo.
