Default buying truck this weekend help.

looking to buy a 94 ford f-350 7.3 idi turbo diesel. has 340,000 miles. is that a lot. how many miles til they take a dump. can anyboudy give me some advise. thanks. also truck needs glowplugs. SORRY PLACED IN WRONG TREAD.

Thats a good looking truck from what I can see in the teeny tiny picture. 340k is a lot of miles not for the engine but the rest of the truck. The 7.3 idi will run for a long time if taken care of. If the truck runs good and drives good and the price is right I wouldn't worry about it having 340k on it.

i know someone that has a 6.9 idi and his is over a mill and i know a guy that has a 7.3 idi that has 800,000 just like 2muckjunk said all depends on how it was takein care of

you didn't say what trans. it's got or if 4x4. but if it's a e4od thats alot of miles on it. and would look hard at the antifreeze to make sure there is no cavitation problems. rest of condition would depend on price and where the truck is from.

it 4x4 he said it has a rebuilt tranny. thanks for all the info. really help out.
