4X4 conversion?
I have got a 92 4 door longbed standard shift F350 which I would like to look into converting to 4WD, dually as well. Im willing to go through the effort instead of just buying one, since it was my first truck and its been in my family since it was new. The dually conversion shouldnt be that hard, but im wondering how hard the 4X4 conversion would be.
gonna avoid the spacer method on dualing it up since I would like to throw out my rear axle and go from single rear wheel and 355 ratio to dual rear wheel and 410 in one shot. Thanks.

you still can if you use a divorced transfer case. if you want a 4wd tranny with a direct bolt on transfer case, youd need a new tranny/x-fer but if you run a divorced t case, you would just need some driveline mods
You can keep your transmission even with a married transfer case, just change out the output shaft. UNLESS you have the parking brake on the transmission, in that case you can remove the parking brake, put the extension housing on, and bolt up the transfer case.
