Default electric fans

I'm replacing my water pump and was wondering if installing that flex-a-lite #294 would be a good idea or not. Has anyone installed an e-fan on there idi?



'94 idi 4x4 x-cab zf5 factory turbo ats upgrade kit hypermax intercooler.

no e-fan moves the same amount as the factory fan some guys have gotten away with removing the fan alltogether in the winter andhad no issues. but had to reinstall as soon as temps got around 40.

You would be hard pressed to find electrics that could move the volume of air the stocker can

You can give it a shot, if the motor starts getting hot, head home or pull over and let it cool then throw the old stuff back on.
