Default More performance questions...

Hello everyone -
I've been lurking around here for quite a while and have gotten some great information, so thank you for that!!

One of the bits of info I've gotten is R&D performance (Justin). Is this company still in business? I've sent them a couple emails but haven't had a response. Also called the number they have on facebook but the number was disconnected. If they're still around, does anyone know how to make contact?

Here's my problem. I love my truck and refuse to get rid of it. Madeline (named after the actor who played bride of Frankenstein) is a '86 F250 with a 6.9, ats 088 turbo, zf 5 speed, stock 3" exhaust.

I frequently tow a 7,000 lb trailer (I do a lot of camping, hunting, fishing, more hunting and general outside activities. Madeline does ok at best. Very difficult to maintain a reasonable speed up even the most moderate hills. If I push her too much, egt's soar to 1000, not good for the ol' girl. I'm afraid if i continue to push the 6.9 this hard I'll end up destroying a perfectly good engine (250k on it)

I picked up a very low mileage 7.3 (125k) and thought I'd do a refresh on the engine (bearings, rings, etc.) and drop that in. I would like to make a couple changes though to eek a little more hp/torque out of it. Key to the changes is getting my grubby little hands on one of Justin's cams. I'd really like to bleed off some compression and raise the boost up to 22 psi or so. Ultimately I think i need around 250 hp and about 400+ lbs torque.

Mods I see need are the following:
1. head studs
2. R&D Cam (need to contact Justin - still in business?)
3. Upgraded turbo (I don't think i can get 20-22 psi from the 088, need to contact Justin)
4. RD2-90 cc IP (I'm going to need a new pump soon, may as well get a good one)
5. 4" exhaust - turbo back

As you can see, R&D is listed here a few times, but if i can't get in touch with them then I'm not really sure what I can do.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!!!

If you get tired of waiting, there is a guy over on oilburners.net with the handle Typ4 who also sells camshafts for these trucks as well as turbo rebuilding with upgraded compressor wheels. Conestoga diesel also has several high performance injection pumps and injectors to choose from. Just a couple more options for you.
