Default 6.7 Liter Christmas Gift Ideas

Anybody have any gift ideas for a gentleman with an '08 Dodge Cummins 4x4 2500 longbed Laramie with a 6-speed auto?

Nothing that can void the warranty, but I'd like something that is still useful. I'm looking to spend $200-300.

Is there a pyrometer or boost gauge on the stock engine that can be tapped into with some sort of scanner?

Any ideas?

Ever hear of warranties getting voided due to air intakes? What kind of air intake gives off the best turbo whine? (Do these trucks have silencer rings?)

Are there any boost or pyro signals that feed into the ECM that you can tap into for gauges? Or do you still need to install your own pyrometer and boost senders?

The new Edge insight will pick the boost reading but even this new state of the art item will still need a hole drilled and tapped for the egt reading.

I haven't ever heard of any warranties being voided because of the cold air intakes. As for the Silencer Ring, I think they have one on the 6.7, but you have to drill out the pins vice peeling out the snapring retainer.

What is the best air intake will get you 100 different answers. Personally, I don't like the idea of washing and oiling a filter. I like the technology behing the Amsoil Nanotechnology filter, just dust it off, blow it out with air. They make an Icebox for the Amsoil filter. http://iceboxmanufacturing.com/

I'm surprised that some of the sponsors haven't spoken up to help you spend your money. But, I bet there is an Amsoil dealer or 2 on here to help you with the Amsoil products.

That Edge Insight looks exactly like what I'm looking for.

Thank you gentlemen.
