Default turbo swap

looking to swap out the stock vgt for a non-vgt.... what is a comparable size to the stock vgt?

Its bigger than stock at 66/74/14 but many people are running a Silver 66 (Silver Bullet) from Industrial Injection.

Then why are you wanting to swap it? Sound?

You will lose your exhaust break and I think you have to run a fixed vane turbo tune to turn the vgt actuator/sensor off cause it will mess with the ecm. If you want a turbo to replace it a silver 62 or 64 would be your best bet I think

i had twins on mine...my profile picture is my manifold i had...i had a 62 on a 76 kit from lovefab with two external 44mm tial wastegates....i couldnt keep head gaskets in the truck so i put a new engine in the truck im running a smarty on level 2 i just want some sound out of the truck and i want a turbo with a wastegate so i can help mout the insane drive pressures that the 6.7 creates
