Is Chris Osborn from the Tri Cities testing this head gasket for you? Or do you have anyone testing these gaskets

yes he was, but it blew in his truck also, he said the machine shop didnt deck his head right so that was the problem for his last two gaskets, but I also blew my 2nd one too. The idea behind the gasket is really good, but not having grooves to hold the rings in place is the problem with it. They have another gasket up there to, not sure if they are going to try it out or not. i am going back to a stock gasket and headstuds, and a different turbo.

im different from everyone else and dont like doing the same thing , so i went with the ats studs, i was going to get the 625's but changed my mind at the last minute to run the ats ones. They are better then the 425s but not as good as the 625s.

Titanium retainers for the valve springs? and what type of keepers? I myself am running just the ARP $450.00 12MM head studs I would recommend RE boreing block with my Toruqeplate I make If you go bigger than 12mm the cyl can pull upto .004 out of round when tightend I have not put a lot of time into the research but have been thinking of adding a screw machine to my shop and making a five gallon buckets full of each size needed for 5.9 12v and 24v

The 425's are the run of the mill standard head stud that you torque to 125-130 ft lbs which is what alot of people run with a single or smaller set of twins. But in the case of my buddy who is running the 425's in his 6.7 with a big set of compounds they dont quite do the trick.

And then you have the 625's the big bad 12mm head studs that you torque to 150-165 ft lbs or so. This is what most people running big air and fuel are more than likely running. These studs offer tons of clamping force for you gasket. Like Vinny that works here is running the 625's on his 03 dodge with the original head gasket after 5 years and 150,000 and 800hp. And Chris just went to these as well on his big 6.7
