ok, i have the 5" tbe from h&s on my truck....how loud are these trucks without the muffler...i know its no where near the same as the 5.9s...and also the muffler is pretty much strait thru...but how much noticeable difference is the loudness? its to quiet!!!

 

mines not to loud til you get into it.i think it sounds great,but the drone at around 60-65 is to much for me. guess i'm gettin old.

 

I had the 5 inch SS with muffler and took off the muffler several weeks ago, not much louder, but there is the increase in drone. My wife doesn't like it, (oh well) It wont be to bad without it if you take it off and I am happy with it off! Just my opinion.

 

Yeah they arent terrible loud compared to a 5.9L until you put a fixed vane turbo on them. The VGT is the worlds best mechanical muffler IMO

 

mines not to bad even out 7'' stacks just a little more rummble

 

No where close to 5.9 loud but my straight pipe sounds great

 

when i sell a exhaust and they want my opinion, i ask how old they are.
