Ive got the Xrt is it safe to turn it up to the 175 just for a little fun red light to redlight...i guess what im asking is will i F*#K anything up?

If you have all the supporting mods sure, if not I would advise against it. A few minutes of fun can lead to months of headaches and a skinny wallet.
