I swear by coated pistons in the gas world! Twin tubro 400cu and aint melted one yet with 900hp to the tire! Wouldnt see it hurting anything in the diesel world?? I just assumed diesel pistons would be built for more heat then gas pistons?

The larger head relief should drop cc and compression ration in the head~ the effects it could/would have are totally up to the build, overall picture.
