just baught a new doge 07 6.7l cummins I traded my 2000 24 valve in for with 254,000 on it and starting to regret, here we go, it already has started off with catalyst full code and im not sure if this truck is stock looks to me to have a straight pipe with 2 sensors in it then into a muffler or converter right befor the axle, there are plugs taped up in the o2 sensor harness and only 2 in the straight pipe is this right ? truck has 67,000 on it it seems fast and smokes a little on the power side

 

Sounds to me like it has a dpf delete which may also be why you are getting codes you will need a programmer to clear those other than you wiLl love that truck

 

ANY smoke from a 6.7 means either the DPF has failed or it has been removed.

In your case it sounds as if the previous owner hacked it out.

 

get a programmer and enjoy smarty or h&s

 

I baught the smarty tuner and set it up for 60 hp fuel package with added timing and it's fast and getting 5 even 6 mpg more, the egr cross over delete is next.
