Default any HP/torque increase?

I am thinking of doing a EGR/DPF deleat and use a smarty jr, I am happy with power w/all stock, but I would only use the stock setting on the smarty jr.
I was just curious if the engine would be putting out a noticable increase with the EGR/DPF removed. Old minds work in strange ways LOL

I'll say that after you do the dpf/egr delete you might gain anywhere from 5-20 hp/ the main purpose of getting it off your truck is to let the truck flow much better and to stop hot exaust gasses/soot from going back into your intake your intake temps should drop a good amount the dpf and egr should be removed asap on a truck ,but we just did one on a truck that had 125k on it and it still runs much better. anyhow no big difference maybe a little any more than that and you will have to use the low settings on the smarty jr

903 mafia thanks for your input, it seems so wrong to be directing very hot, dirty air into the intake, it would have to run much more effecantly with clean/cool air.
It has always seemed to me that if all engines used less fuel, there would be less bad stuff in the air.

Bingo, the epa is shooting theirselves in the foot here and they are to dumb to realize it. If we enforced the epa laws we already have instead of make new ones the whole country would be in better shape. Thats why you and I couldn't get into poltics to much common sense
