My question is can I use a Smarty JR on my 08 doge 6.7 and leave it stock, including exhaust and DPF and EGR and mainly use it for code deleats.

Thanks to your post, I just noticed Smarty Jr is available for the 6.7's. I need to read more.

I also read on the MADS site that "Unlike the Smarty JR for the 5.9L, the Smarty J67 is not untraceable".

This maybe stupid questions, but is this something most dealerships will check? If so, is the programmer's footprint something the dealer can easily find?

I love my rig and as quick as she is, another 40 or 70 HP would be great. I'd just hate to flush the warranty.

 

my local dealer tells me they almost always ck for codes or falts when anything is done. So my guess is most other dealer do the same.

 

Yeah, just get the S67, then if you ever do deletes download the ME software.

 

Both the jr and sr offer ME software .

 

Not for the post April 09 and newer trucks... Only ones that are distributing A download is Bullydog. And they have only publicly released in the last week.
