Default H&S Blackmaxx

Just now had a chance to post a thread about this thing I have been running the 175hd and now just switched to the 225 hd all I can say about the blackmaxx period is wow I love this thing worth every penny I have had the XRT, Smarty, and the PMT I loved my smarty and XRT ,but this thing topped them truck runs super smooth with it installed the only thing you have to watch closely with the 225hd is your egt on a stock turbo they will get hot fast ,but it say turbo and fuel upgrades required. Big Thanks to Chris at HDR Diesel.

You running the turbo timming downloads? The 225 was made for injectors and upgraded cp3 or duals. My truck ran out of fuel on the 225 level. But i agree, i love the black maxx, glad you do too.

I am undecided what to do with our shop truck, i have 50hp injectors and and getting ready to put on an air dog after desperatley needing one. But unsure if i am going to install a bag of parts on the stockl cp3 or go ahead and put duals on, i would love to put duals on but dont want to spend the money righ now. Glad you like it though, i run mine on the 175 with turbo timing right now.

yeah the first thing I did was put the hd 175 tune on mine. The airdog is one of my favorite mods that I have done with my truck if you have the money dual cp3 will out last and outperform a modded single i will be installing duals in future but gunna have to do something about air for now I may have a silver bullet sitting on the shelf soon

I will probably hold off and do duals, you need injectors, the stock turbo can take a good amount of hp, i have heard of over 600 on the stocker.

Ya they make some good stuff.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

120's might be a little big with stock turbo, maybe.

Thinking of going with a silver bullet I know where a used one is pretty cheap and since I will be replacing my head gasket after blowing mine today I will be going with ewg, studs, and bigger turbo and injectors

Ya i put studs on mine, next is ewg. I really want to put the II twin setup on my truck. See i still pull my pulling truck around sometimes when not useing the semi so i dont want to loose my exhaust brake. Let me know if you need a price on some of them parts.
