Default black maxx question

Just ordered my black maxx today and i was wondering if anyone else had one and how they liked them another thing is i notice that it says a fuel rail shim kit is nessary and was wondering what that was about ? any input would be great thank you.

You dont have to have it but uts cheap and it will make it run a lot better, i would get one if i were you, simple install. The black maxx is great, i have one on my personal truck and love it. Cant wait for the active maxx software to come out.

ok thanks bud i got it the other day and installed it and all went well but im just wondering if i can run the 175 hp tune with a stock fuel system and have it run ok?

Running a hot tune like that on a stock fuel system will probably drain the fuel rails.
