Default Black Maxx

I just figured out that I can set different brightness for the display so when I turn the headlights on, the display automatically gets darker. I have wondered for years why all the diesel tuner displays have never incorporated this simple feature. I may have to get one of these for my Chevy now, my Juice/attitude just seems so 1980 all of a sudden.

That's an understatement! I ran with the straight pipe for a week and then put the muffler on yesterday, I am 100% happy with the way the truck runs, sounds, and very, very happy with the tunes the Black Maxx has. The truck runs like it should, very smooth and gobs of low end power, even on the stock setting it feels much better.

So Tony, do they make one of these for an 07 LBZ Duramax??? How about for an 03 Dodge common rail??

That's a bummer! I'd love to see one on my Chevy now. I was thinking TST/ Smarty stack for the Fodge, but I don't have it fired up yet so I can wait and see if H&S will come up with anything for it.

Does the blackmaxx leave a signature in the computer?

I'm hoping someone, comes up with a way to get a tuner on the 6.7 without leaving any trace in the ECM...... so we can go back to the way things were with the 5.9

First mileage test yesterday, put about 400 miles on it yesterday @ 70-72 mph empty the first half and with a HVAC roof top unit in the back for the second half. Averaged 20 mpg with a little running around town where I picked up the unit. Overhead said 22, so it's a little more generous but I am very happy with the mileage improvement.

I'm driving the Fodge now too
