smarty , xrt and black maxes are the ones that shut down the regen stuff.

 

To clarify further, with the black maxx or xrt, you don't have to remove or block the egr. They will turn the egr off with the program that it puts in your truck, it does not just erase codes, it takes the egr part of the programming out. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the smarty works the same way. I would call Tony (diesel pap) and visit with him, he has the smarty on his 6.7 I believe. He'll steer you in the right direction for what you're needing regardless.

 

Sorry to hijack the thread but thanks Matt. I wasn't sure about H&S's egr disabling capabilites. I read with the Smarty you have to remove the butterfly gear and that's not something I want to do. Thanks!

 

I started out with an edge w/ attutude and a non-programming delete kit on my truck...
Now I use a smarty for my deletes and power. All I use my edge for is a monitor now.
