Ya i dont know, i used the same one from radio shack, good quality switch and good gauge wire. Might be something with the black maxx. Who knows.

That would be my only guess...if you could get your hands on a smarty to try it and rule it out? You have the resistor on the right wire?? I have to check my pics and see which one I put it on, its the signal wire if you have fluke. One is the 12V constant and the other a 0-5 volt map. If you have the resistor on the 12V switch it over to the 0-5 signal wire.

I do believe i have it on the right one, i put it on the pink and yellow wire.

Ya, sounds right but I will pop the hood and double check for ya when I get home to my baby. I am out on the East Coast right now. I will get back to you on it next week when I get back.

Could also try maybe putting your tune back to stock, remove the tuner and flip the switch since the tuner doesn't prevent the CEL, and see if it works that way??? That might help rule out the tuner..

WELL I MAY BE NEWBIE BUT I USED TO LOVE TO SMOKE MY 04 WITH TWIN STACKS, my new 2010 is stock for now, but as soon as i get the low-down on egr and fuel dump in the exhaust i will be looking to make smoke again. illegal is only a state of some tree huggers mind:tttt:. As you may ascertain al Gore and global warming are a joke. we are waiting to see which is bigger:moon:

i think you did a fine job stating your point:rocking: i somewhat agree and somewhat disagree. Im sure you know theres a time and place for everything...but whens the right time and wrong time:humm:

Cashwheel, I agree with you. 6.7 Mojo, you may be a responsible "smoker", but too many times, I see dumba55 kids belching the smoke to the point it's a REAL driving hazard for other motorist. I like smoke, but only where it's safe and off the street.

It is excatly because of the smokin' kids we now have an overly regulated exhaust system. In an age when people are more aware of the environment, we should be looking for ways to make way more power, less smoke, increase mileage, and up reliability.

Want to really bring more people to the sport? Impress the masses, not just the one or two smokers in the hundred suckin in the smoke.

Maybe it's an older man's thing, but stealthy and under the radar is always way more impressive.

I agree with all of your comments and totally respect your replies because u didnt attack me. And i agree..when and where is right is hard to say...but im a small town guy who is 30 yrs old and have been in the Military for 12 yrs..so i know when right is...kinda right...haha. But that was my second post and that guy crawled up my ass like i was a 16 yr old infront of the mayors office power braking a nuclear diesel cloud out my rig doing cookies running over senior citizens and small children...I mean come on! I dont join sites to judge others. Voice my opinion and hear yours...sure. but there is a right way and right time to speak strongly....:)

One thing i have to disagree with is smokin rigs didnt cause blue tec and dpf standards for 2010. Lobbyist and crooked Al Gore supporting tree huggers created our headache. Im a sailor by nature...u want to talk polution and no one looking....try the ocean...not the high way. And im not a turtle hugger either...but the fed gov. wont even blink an eye at a spill if its less than 10,000 gallons. Find me a ship that burns over a 100,000 gals of diesel annualy....they are eveywhere. Show me one with an egr or dpf.....still waiting.

And thats just fuel....marine CFRs and Marpol still lets EVERY marine vessel throw plastic in the water 12nm offshore...dont want to sidebar and hijack my own post...but us everyday amercians have been screwed by the self centered money hungry crooks we elect.

Black clouds wont kill this country or our sport...green paper will!!
