Default boost and EGT gauges

i ordered a boost and EGT gauge yeasterday and im just double checking of where to tap in for the boost is where the egr delete plates are and for the EGT you tap into the exhast header now my main question is is it ok to remove the turbo so you dont have to worry about getting metal shaveings into the turbo or should i leave everything along any info would be great thank you

yes you can remove turbo if you want but just use some grease on the bit and a shop vac. as for the boost i think it goes on the intake horn but i am not sure because i'm going to be putting gauges on my buddy's 6.7l soon.
