Default Banks cold air kit w/ram air duct?

Anyone try one of these out? I have seen some pictures of it, I like the way they made the duct to pick the air up from the bottom of the front tire.... friend of mine got one for his duramax and is very happy with it.

Anyone try one on a new 6.7 yet? Air filter is just about due for replacment, and I figure mine as well get it all done at once.

I know it's not even close to the cheapest option out there, I'm more intrested in the parts fitting right and a good quality part that is going to last, both of which I think banks is probably pretty good on.

Feedback please

I'm not sure about the Banks CAI but both my trucks have AFE Stage 2 CAIs and I love them. Easy install, look good, and fit perfectly. And for the 3rd gens you can get a duct that sucks in air from the fog light opening.

The intake is causing the truck to start tossing codes off? I thought the k/n was the only one that did that.

I wonder if it's an issue with the banks airbox and the edge, the edge only, banks airbox only, etc.

That's exactly the setup I wanted to go to. I'll hold off a couple more weeks, see what develops. Please keep me posted.
