I have my new 5" expandit turbo back exhaust, egr and cooler delete plates and the smarty.
I am currently working on this project and have the old exhaust off except for the downpipe.
Has anyone started their 6.7 in this configuration?
If I were to start mine to see how it sounded what precautions should I take?
I wonder what it would like? I have ran my 383 LT1 this way many of times at the track but am unsure of the diesel nature?
I have a short amount of time to **** off the neighbors as the new exhaust and other mods will be installed tomorrow.
Thanks,
GMB

I was not overly impressed with the sound with just downpipe. sounded kinda weak.
I finished the expandit 5", smarty me, EGR and Cooler delete, S&B intake today.
I am happy with the results. Starting to sound like a truck finally.
The idle sound leaves alot to be desired but once you give it some rpms and it comes to life.
Thanks for everyone that helped with this setup.

I can not believe how much crap I took off my truck today. I must have shed 50 pounds. I was amazed on the weight of the DPF. What a pile.
When I layed my new exhaust next to my stock exhaust, I was not surprised that my truck ran like crap before.
No more trips to the stealership for DPF related problems.
