Hi 6narowbuilt2tow,

did you also defeat the EGR or just DPF?

Thanks,

I thought your had to delete both the DPF and EGR at the same time when running the Smarty. How did you delete just the DPF? Did you just unplug the EGR electrical connector?

The reason I ask is I will install my exhaust tonight while I still wait for the EGR and cooler delete to show up.

IT depends on what you are going to run I ran ME11 with the egr and dpf turned on with no problems, or if you run the regular smarty software you will not have a problem. I deleted mine a couple weeks after running it so I could turn the 4th injection cycle off

I am confused I think. I am running the Smarty currently with both the EGR and DPF in place. Everything is great

6narowbuilt2tow said "Saturday i installed the smarty s67 on my 07.5 dually along with the 5 inch turbo back exhaust"

I read that as he deleted the DPF with just the smarty and left the EGR in place (probably me assuming wayyyy to much).

From what I have been reading - with the Smarty 6.7ME you have to defeat both to work right?

Am I over thinking this? Can you run the Smarty 6.7 (any configuration) and leave the EGR in place but the DPF deleted?

Thanks for your clarification. I am glad I joined this forum.
