Default Smarty? Cold air intake?

Im looking to get a programmer and everyone is saying to get the Smarty. Is anyone running it that could tell me what they think about it? I want to make sure and make the right choice..

Also I need a cold air intake and i have heard things about the TRUE FLOW XDi COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEM. What do yall think about that particular one and is anyone running this intake?

I have a 5.9 and got the Smarty and I am nothing but pleased with it. Just make sure you have the $$$ to upgrade your tranny. Even if you don't have the $$ if you are not hard on the truck you will still have fun with it without tearing stuff up.(Just use the lower settings) As far as the intake, I don't know anything about that brand. I have a Quadzilla monster intake on mine, and had it even when the truck was stock and am more than happy with it. These days, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the intakes on the market. Just stay away from K&N. I wouldn't put that on my tractor and there are many more that would agree with this. They just don't filter out the dirt.

Don't worry about what they say on that other forum, they have a habit of only allowing what THEY want and sponsor. The Smarty for the 6.7 just came out and they may still be working out some bugs. Some people just buy it on the fly and DON'T EVEN REALLY GIVE IT A CHANCE. But I garauntee(sp) that if you buy one you will have support if you buy it from a certified dealer.

You can't go wrong with the Smarty or XRT. There have been a couple of minor issues with the Smarty, but Marco is aware of them and already has fixes in the works. Both MADS and H&S have very good tech support as well.
Chirs(CBrahs) will be able to answer any questions you might have about either, not to mention make you a great deal on whicheve one you decide to go with.
As for cold air intakes, I've been very happy with my S&B.

The MP-8 makes for a good stack with the Smarty.
