Default Installed Smarty

And at last, I got my Smarty today.

Installation takes about 3 times longer than my 99 model.

All the codes got cleared very nicely.

Test drove her. The sound is a little different.

I am interested to see if I get any improvement on MPG. Will post the results in a week or so.

I do not know if it will regen or not. Hopefully not!

so who has a 6.7 with a DPF & cat delete, with 4 or 5" turbo-back and the Smarty? i want to hear the good and bad of the product.

why would you be worried about regen with a DPF delete??

anyone else get their smarty in the mail yesterday or today?

I have not done DPF delete, still on original exhaust system. I would let it be for now see how things works out. If I need more fun, I drive the dual Evil twin turbo. That is my 99 RAM with some good mods!

I have set main set to SW # 3 : 60 Hp increase, with added timing. This is the highest recommened for stock automatic transmission. I will not take it any higher because I have heard from few that it will ripe the heck out of the tranny.

This morning in my 45 miles to work in I-40, I did try it for a bit, the power is very noticeable and sure enjoyed it. It was in 3 figures from 70 MPH after just few secinds. Very steady and smooth puled away from everyone else who knew what I am going to do. Couple of friends giving hell to each other every morning!

I'm running mine at SW#5 with torque on level 3. It runs great, kills my Bully Dog PP and Superchips, but seems to be lacking power in 6th gear. It gets to 80 mph or so pretty darn quick but seems lacking the pull above there.... Any ideas?????? Just trying to catch my dad in his 08 duramax with a mild bullydog tune.......
