So I'm putting in my 120hp nozzles tomorrow, and my buddy wants me to go to a test truck pull on saturday to see how i do. my only concern is that i still have the stock 68rfe and converter. do y'all think it'll hold up ok for just one run?

I don't think you will have any problems with 1 pull but I wouldn't push my luck to much I think the boosted launches are the hardest on them. Nice truck looks good.

 

well, it worked out ok. I pulled 243 ft with no problems, tho no one told me to hit the throttle when you let off to keep the truck from shutting off .

now im hooked

 

Now if U start to pull more, better get some ladder bars and set the hitch up as short as possible plus do a tranny or U will have some problems down the road

 

ih yea, i plan on a full billet tranny, but that'll be six months down the road.
