A very close friend of mine does.. Hes got an LMM Chevy, that mysteriously lost its DPF one evening in the shop.. and DOT has yet to even look under his truck. He runs TX,AR,LA,IN,IL,KS,OK,NM,AZ areas..

Also, in the oilfield we have hotshots deliver daily to just about every rig, and Ive noticed several of them with new 6.7's and LMM's running straights.. I guess they get away with it.

92 fords didnt have a turbo....but anway, i run hotshot with my truck to all 48, my DPF has been MIA for alng time...i get regular D.O.T ******** that look at the truck from front to back and underneath...never said anything about the DPF missing...most of them dont even kno what they arelookin at anyway. theydo the inspections to meet the quota, since they have so many a year they have to do...that came from the mouth of a GA DOT sergeant here where i live that is a family friend...but most DOT guys say something different than the other.

Ditto, for the biggest part the DOT guys here don't know what they are looking for. But that may change, I would still take my chances.
