Default First Mods For A 6.7?

I just picked up a '08 6.7 and need to know which mod to buy first. Been looking at edge, TS and bullydog. What about Superchips or one of the other hand held types?

Also anyone want to buy a quadzilla Adrenaline for a 2000? New in box.

Default MOST MODS WILL VOID CUMMINS/DODGE WARRANTY

Just a heads up, I know I will be viciously attacked by MOD sellers..but....Have to tell you first hand what I learned..

The cummins 6.7 Engine has an integrated ECM, it has a tattle tale that will detect, flag, and lock in a specific fault code that CAN NOT be deleted or erased if you install a
"programmer, or any other type of performance chip". Once it is set, it can only be reset by 1. replacement of the ECM, or 2. the dealer.

Problem with number 2 is..the dealer pulls the code and flags your VIN with a WARRANTY VOID!

No questions, no comments...no ifs ands or butts... PERIOD...It is clearly written out in the owners manual.

So, you lay down 50K for your dream truck and want to boost it to its full potential, plan on doing it sanz warranty..and by the way..warranty void is WARRANTY VOID..

NOTHING will be coverd...

I took mine in with a BANKS ram air on it and they refused service until I removed it and place the stock air box on....They did NOT void the warranty but due to the fact they had to "touch it" while replacing my turbo charger..the refused service...and they did say, that using it could cause issues with the computer and turbo, but Banks must have silenced them as they never said another word about it..just said ..don't bring it in unless the stock box is put back in...

Be CAREFUL OUT THERE...and p.s.....the EPA can pull your registration and void your ability to license your truck if you mess with the emissions system..its FEDERAL law..

The Hypertechs seem to work very well and are CARB legal. The S&B intake is CARB pending as well (all of theirs are either legal or pending) Those two things and a DPF-back 5" system have really helped our customers with EGT issues and have delivered 100hp and 250lb/ft over stock. They are getting 3-6MPG using the middle setting of the programmer also! Dyno is on our site in the "News" section.

First mod should be replacement of the Air Filter to a high output air filter. Banks Power got a good one that is acceptable by Dodge. The two sensors on the OEM housing will be used on Banks air duct. So, the temp and flow monitoring will stay in place.
I have done this and sure enjoy the nice increase in response and the sound of turbo!
