Hey Ya'll.. I know this thread is a lil old... but I was hoping tha some of ya'll with the 6.7 and the MP-8 could take pics of there the 3 wires hook into.. My buddy bought one of these MP-8's and display the other day, and we tried to install it, but the instructions dont say exactly which wire to hook into for the Crank Position sensor, MAP and the other one..
there is 3 wires u are supposed to use those clips things on and we cant figure out which wires to clip them to..if ya'll have pics it would greatly help since we are out in the middle of nowhere on a rig site, and his truck is in pieces out there..

Thanks again for the replies. Its kind of an emergency...

love my MP-8. it makes a solid 3mpg difference. All hand calculated. But I get this at the 60 % setting. The overhead keeps going up all the way to the 100% but the mileage is not as good as at the 60 setting. Took the egr off a couple weeks ago and am now getting 22mpg at 70 mph highway (Hand Calculated). Should of done it months ago.

get block off plates, remove the butterfly plate from intake horn, leave the brown motor/actuator off and therefore unplugged. you will get soft code but edge can clear on start up. EGT's are down about 250 degrees. you have to have the dpf delete to do this
i believe. My mpg's went up and definately runs cooler. I debated this mod for months and wish i had done it sooner

There are a few guys around running the hot juice/Mp8 stack that really like it. Some have tried to stack with the Bullydog but its to much timing and they run like chit on the street I've been told.

Default MP-8 good or bad?

If i stack a smarty programmer and the MP-8 is it true that the MP-8 is hard on your injectors and you shouldnt have it on a daily driver?

On my Chassis Cab the Hypertech MP8 worked fine as you can see in my signature. Have any of you dynoed your trucks before and after? The MP8 and Smarty don't seem to mix at all. I've tried it differen't time and SW#'s and minimal if any gains and on the higher hp setting even made worse hp. You can adjust rail on the smarty if you get the revo version anyway. If you get the mp8 make sure you shim the rail pressure sensor or you'll get codes anytime you crank it up. Local shop here did that to a guy and codes all the time.
Anyone want my mp8 I'd sell it to you.
