Default Delete Information?

I own a 2011 Dodge 2500 diesel 4x4 and we pull a fifth wheel. The truck is a beast! I have never owned anything better. I have been reading about deleting. I want better mpg and a longer mileage per oil change. I do not need more HP and when we pull it will rack up 8000-10000 miles.
Has anyone pulled with delets? Has anyone ever had problems after delets? What MPG do you get now? Can you get over 4000 miles on a oil change? Do you have to delete the crankcase filter?
I have 40,000 miles on the truck and it has been back to the dealer three times for a dirty cat they have to force it to clean it. I just do not want to do anything that would make it run like my old F-250. What a piece of junk. That $50,000 truck could not pull without braking down.

From what ive seen delete and dont look back. Better mpg, performance, and mpg. You will have to get a tuner to clear the code. But better jump now to get ome from h and s before their gone.

Well youll need a programmer to rid the light. I think the h and s mini maxx does just that with no hp gain.

smarty Jr or S67 will do it.

You can also have less regens if you use a water/meth kit. Snow used one for a couple years with a mild tune and it never did active regen,

Well if you are going do do all the deletes them the smarty j67 me or smarty s67me will do the trick. H&S will do it but more $ and eflive will work as well. Most people who have been deleted for a long time will tell you you need to run the hot tunes to get the best mpg, but don`t get on the skinny pedal to hard. look at the site also it has alot of delete, tuner, ect info. Good luck! I did all the deletes on my 08 and picked up a 3 month old smarty j67 me for $300, alot of people are dumping smarty and h&s to go with efilive, so you can pick up some good deals on used tuners. Dodge Cummins Diesel Forum Look down towards the end of the page and you`ll find the for sell section!

I have not had anything go wrong. My bumper to bumper warranty is up now. In three or four years we will replace it. For now 4 or 5 mpg will pay back the delete fast. I pull a fifth wheel 10,000 miles per year.

I am deleted and the smarty was easy to set up. It is too soon to get an mpg readings but wow I can feel the truck respond faster and it sounds better.
