Brand new 2015/2016 Cummin!
Hi every one I am new to this forum and to the world of diesel trucks.
I walked into the dealer ship last Saturday and spoke with a sales rep to find out they still have the NO CHARGE DIESEL sale event going on. So i built one with the sales rep to either locate me a brand new 2015 Cummins 4x4 crew cab flame red or to honor the no charge diesel event and build me the 2016 if they couldn't find the 2015.
So I have alot of questions but I'll try to start off slow XD
So first question in this post will be about tire sizes without lifts/levels.
What is the max tire size you can run without rubbing anything?
I would be pretty happy with 33s on factory 18s if any one had pictures?
I'll most likely run the goodyear wrangler duratracs cause I got them on my 08 chevy and love em.
But i think i'll leave it here for my first post!

I don't think it would void warranty because I'm not changing any drive train components and the tire size is very minimally increased.
But without level kit - so far all the ones I've test drove and seen are pretty level and I don't think I would require one for the 33s because it's not THAT big of difference in size that it shouldnt rub anything.
Especially on stock factory rims or maybe black steelies.

33's will fit fine. stay with a load range 'E' tire. big tires can induce the dreaded death wobble. lift / leveling kits look nice, but be aware that you are changing the geometry of the truck. hard on suspension and steering parts. I've been running General Red letters on my rig for 4 years...great tires. get them siped, and they'll last a lot longer. tough tire, my truck dyno'd at 556 hp, and the tires handle it just fine. put a fass or airdog fuel preporator system in it as soon as possible, as it will save you from premature injector failure. change the oil at 3500 mile intervals (no matter what the dealership says) and don't use fram filters...ever. don't run cheap fuel through it, use chevron fuel if possible. all the things I have mentioned were learned the hard way. welcome to the diesel world! Its the only place where you get huge torque and great mileage too. ( the mileage takes time, these engines take 70,000 miles to break in)
