I have a 2009 Dodge 2500 with a 6.7 and 6 speed manual. Last night during normal around town driving it would not shift into 5th or 6th gear. I could shift from 1st -4th gear and everything felt perfectly normal, it just would not go into 5th or 6th. This lasted about about 20 minutes and now it shifts into all gears normally. I checked the transmission fluid and it is full, the clutch master cylinder is also full. I just wanted to know if anyone had any ideas? Thank you.

 

i just had the same issue with my 2012 3500. drive around town and cant shift to 5th or 6th. did fine all the way up til now, did fine this morning. only have 25,000 miles on it, dont drive it hard. i got it back to the house and parked it, never let me shift into 5th or 6th. will go back out after a bit and check it out. if anyone knows anything about it your knowledge is greatly appreciated.
