^^ I'm reading up on it but it seems like people are having head gasket issues once they delete the emissions crap. My first tank's hande calculated mileage was a dismal 12.9... I would say about 40% of it was local. On the highway she returned almost 14.2 on an average.

I've had my 2011 for a little over a year and it got between 9 and 10 until it hit about 12000 at which point it gets around 12. I would be happy with your figures for now. If you delete the emissions then the milage will improve. The only time people have head gasket problems is when they push them hard. Back to the tow thing though, did you find a truck with the max tow package?

Thanks for your feedback. I found one with the package and went thru one tank of diesel already...

This is my first Diesel and I'm loving it...

Hmm, there are some nice kits out there..... Now when you say keep the boost low, what do you mean? Keep it at stock levels? Or use the lowest settings in the tuner?

By the way, how much boost does it run stock? Does getting better head studs and clamping it down keep the gasket in place and not fail?

what i mean by the keeping the boost low is keeping in the lower 20s like 24-25 max. also i would keep it on the lower settings. the stock boost im going to jump on a limb and say 25-28 ? yes head studs help alot but dont always solve the problem.
