I started out looking for a 06-07 mega cab with the 5.9L, getting hard to find and they are priced pretty high. I now have stared looking at the 07.5 - 09 mega cabs with the 6.7l. I have been reading about all the delete stuff you can do to the 6.7l to make it more dependable/ better mpg ect. My ? is which one would you buy and why? I don`t like the new body style , so i will stay with the 06-09 style. I will be keeping this truck until it dies and rusts away. Which diesel shop/ builder is the best with the 6.7L engine. Sorry for all the dumb ?`s , but i have has my 02 ford f250 for the past 10 yrs and I know alot more about ford diesels. Thanks for you help!!!

What mpg do you average? I take it you have done some/all of the deletes. There is no testing on cars and trucks here in Indiana.

 

I have an 08 as well. I love it ecept the part i forgot to order mega cab. Do the deletes and you will be a happy owner. Mpg's i will say 16-21. All the 6.7s are a good picj in my book. U
