How often should the valves be adjusted on a 6.7 Im almost to 150k some have said every 80k.

 

Cummins claims that these engines are designed to run their lifetime without valve lash adjustment. I personally recommend adjustment at 100k intervals. With 150k on it, if you check them they will be off slightly.

Any one have the order you can do them in? As in like what valves with # 1 cylinder tdc and so on. thanks

 

With #1 piston at tdc compression adjust intake valves on cyls. 1,2, and 4 and exhraust valves on 1,3, and 5. Rotate engine 360° til #6 is at tdc compression and adjust intake valves on cyls. 3,5 and 6. Exhaust valves on 2,4 and 6.
