Okay. Well, an EGR and cooler delete, a DPF delete pipe or the full turbo back exhaust and a tuner of sorts. I went with the Smarty Jr.; about 500 bucks. Altogether, depending on what route you take with the exhaust (and you CAN wait on the cooler and just get an EGR delete for now for 60) you're looking to spend around 700 bucks. I went all out with mine. Got the EGR/cooler delete and strait back exhaust. I've been seeing my overhead read up to 24 MPG in town and saw 26 on the highway. I went about 150 miles on a quarter tank. It's a big difference from 15-18 BTW where in Texas you at?

Rollin Smoke Diesel has been really good to me. I got some of my stuff there; but really I just shopped around different sites (thoroughbred, XDP, DPP, rolling smoke) and price matched for the best deal. I can't tell you that is my for sure MPG, cuz that overhead fluctuates so much, but I had never seen over 18 cruising around town before that. And every truck is different. I think mine has been the best case scenario. I have 3.73 gears too. I'm sure that 3500 has 4s, which will hurt MPG considerably. But you WILL notice the difference and, in the long run, it will pay for itself
