PVC valve ? it has been mentioned in a couple threads (no info about it) where is it, and how often does this need changed ?? thanx for any input

Its on the top portion of the valve cover that you can unbolt separately from the actual valve cover. And as far as servicing that particular item I do not know. Have you checked your service manual? And also some one else may chim in that knows?

thanks Scott, Coorsman told me about a filter in the valve cover... I'm guessing its the same thing .... he removed that hose on the valve cover and replaced it with a normally asperated filter.. keeps oil out of the turbo and intercooler if I understood correctly. He mentioned trying to use a 5.9 cover on his to eliminate that PVC filter. As far as the manuel goes manuel? who needs a manuel when we have diesel bombers !

it is the same thing,,,i beleive it needs to be changed every 60k kms? genos garage is selling them at a great price ,,or go to cummins direct...i get them for 69 bucks at cummins

i got mine on ebay for 30 bucks what you guys think about going to a 5.9 valve cover would it work

i have asked kevin @k2 that years ago and he said nothing about it and i left it at that.
but would be a good idea if a guy wants to go that extreme with the head,,,,like with the us's epa laws in effect....?

but if your strickly racing who cares right
