Default 6.7L straight exhaust

I am a new Cummins owner and as most looking for mod upgrades. As most I'm looking for the normal things as far as intake, programmer and so on. Well talking to my buddy he brought it to my attention tha it would be near impossible to fins someone to put a straight pipe on my 2008 bc of the 6.7.He was telling me that it won;t pass emissions and causes the truck to throw codes. Now I've done quit of bit of research and see that there are 6.7L with pipes on them. So... what's the steps in getting this done and not causing harm to my truck?

Either do a full 5" Turbo back exhaust or just a dpf delete pipe and a dpf delete programmer.

No it won't be load. My son had it done. You do have to get a smarty or other programmer to install to keep codes out. But he can sneak up on deer though.

I first ran a 5 inch with muffler (magna stainless steel) then pulled off the muffler and I like it better, wife hates it, my 11 year old twins love it! It does have a drone at higher rpms, but I am only 48 years old and it isn't too loud.
