Default considering a 6.7

i am currently running an early 07 5.9 and i have to give it up to a new employee my boss said go find a new truck... so i figure i may as well get a NEW truck! If i get a new 2011 and get a programmer and do the deletes can the trannys hold up with added power or do you have to go ahead and do the converter and valve body with billet shafts etc? i am not looking to race i was thinking of running like a 50 horse tune but i do pull about 6-8k frequently

If you go with something like the smarty delete it has settings you can use that keep it in a safe mode.to avoid tranny damage.with smart driving you should be ok.I do believe there is a modification kit for the autos and its not that expensive.
