Default Need Help with The Rear In my 2011 Cummins

Im going to try and explain but not sure what i have "limited slip or open" I test drove the truck before i bought it and i know it has the new rear not the dana> But anyways i test drove the truck and of course i stopped on dry surface slight up hill and held the brake and boosted it up a little not spining the tires and she left a good 50 plus ft of 2 tire rubber letting go of the brake.. well now that i own the truck and in the rain she has left one leg fire and also i did one power brake in the dry at a stop sign and she melted one tire really bad so upset on that one but i also slowly built boost another time just today and both started to spin. So I called the dealer and they ran the vin and it says has convential Rear and thats it. SO i came home jacked the truck up and rotated the tires and one spins the op direction in park and netural. Then i lowered on side tire down and left it in park and it didnt spin anymore but in netural it rotated the one tire. So Im lost can a open rear do pos burnouts and or is something not right in this rear. The dealer said its an open rear but i never new a open rear will spin pos at times. Please help ! It has 373 gears if that is needed to know I would have never bought a one tire fire in a cummins

You have an open rear end. Sometimes depending on traction and power available both tires will spin.
