I don't claim to know much about the needs of the tcase beyond the recommended ATF, but there are lot of duramax owners that use 5/30 motor oil in theirs. I can't imagine that the components would be that different but I've not seen the same use in dodge owners. There has been good success in the dmax owners.
Just thought I would throw that out in case there are some users out there that might throw their 2 cents in.

It needs a lighter oil like ATF because it's a chain-driven t-case.

Why don't you want to use the recommended fluid?

I know enough about this vendor's products to find just about anything he sells pretty amusing. But if you think this "Gorilla Juice" is the best thing for your transfer case, why don't you go right ahead and explain exactly why.

I'm all ears....

ATF+4 is synthetic, though not a FULL synthetic. Gorilla juice? Sounds like a $10 chip that will increase your fuel mileage by 5 mpg.
