I have been averaging 13.5 to 14 for awhile now. I might get 150 miles at the most at a time with no trailer on the back.

Today I am going to be in Bismark hauling sandbags on my 36 flatbed. I am predicting single digit mpg today.

Default just drove 3000 miles on deletes

I've got to tell a short story first...I had my TOC stolen in Atalanta about 4 months ago. Dodge wanted $5400 to fix, ($3900 just for the part). When I drove the 200 miles to Atlanta, I was averaging on my overhead 16.5 which was the standard display meaning about 14.2-14.5 hand calculated. Driving home from Atlanta, my overhead read 22-24. When I filled up in Augusta, my hand calc equaled 19.5.

So, I spent $200 on straight pipe and $640 on an HS mini...driving cold 7 miles each way to work I get 17.8. on the highway coming from DC to San Francisco, I averaged 20.1 driving less than 75mph until I hit the rockies. driving the rockies from SLC to Reno I averaged 17.2.

Have played with the settings. more hp seems to mean mor mpg, but driving well under 70 really makes the difference. I have not done the trans tune, and am running stock 245/70R17 on a 4WD 2008 6.7.

Don't think I will ever, and I mean NEVER go to a dodge/fiat dealership again.

Dont believe Dodges pattened "Ly-O-Meter" . Hand calculating is the only way to go.
