I tell ya'll what. I'm not convinced that pump or the seal was bad. It literally took two fingers on the ratchet on the top bolt to turn and the bottom bolt, I really didn't put any pressure on it at all to loosen the nut. I went ahead and replaced the pump and seal, but not sold on the fact the old pump was bad. Dealership hooked me up with a warranty pump and antifreeze. SHHSSHHHHHSHHH. I just had to install it.

glad the stlealership hooked you up. If I recall, they soaked me pretty good for parts. I'm thinking it was a platinum pump, and pretty sure the water in the antifreeze was blessed by the Pope, and priced accordingly.
on a serious note.....the bolts holding mine also seemed finger-tight. Glad you got her back on the road.

That would be the ultimate truck. Been sayin it for years. I told my friends that if they stopped putting Cummins motors in Dodge's and started putting them in Nissan's, then i would buy the Nissan....
