this engine the 6.7 is in the machine shop being worked. But yesterday I pulled my 2006 5.9 and was trying to see how parts from the 6.7 would fit. I pulled the grid heater plate off the 5.9 head to see if the 6.7 grid heater would fit. And the gasket holes were the same but there was a piece of the head that had an extra piece next to one of the bolt holes that would not allow it to fit. You could take a die grinder and cut the piece away to allow it to fit. I will take alot more pics of both engines and acc compared next to each other to show you the diff. I'm goin to use my 6.7 that is in shop but I did not know if that engine was going to be any good. And I am curios as to if I could do the swap if I buy another truck with a 6.7 that is beyond repair.
