Default water in fuel light coming on.

i just took my truck thru an automatic car wash and as i was going thru the water in fuel light in the dash came on. truck seems to drive fine so i went and parked it and let it sit for about an hour and went back out and started it up and their was no sign of the water in fuel light coming back on. has anyone else had this problem?? i dont know if it is something to be concerned about or if it was just a fluke. where on the engine is the sensor that operates the water in fuel light. hope you guys can help!!
