i got a p2509 code it says pcm ecm intermittent signal whats this mean?? I cleared it though

 

Your j1939 or j1708 is not cummunicating. laymans terms the computers in the truck aint talking to each other.

 

actually it means the ecm is either recieving an intermittant positive signal im fighting this same issue usually a bad battery or grounds it is a very frustrating issue in my truck. i've replaced both batteries the fan clutch and add a ground to grid heater straight to the battery and im still having trouble with the truck stalling starts right back up runs fine and the check engine light is on and code reads p2509 so good luck mine goes back to stealership tommorrow

 

I tightened my cables and it hasnt came back yet. It was annoying though
