I remeber seeing a post on here how to turn off that annoying seatbelt chime, I used the search tool with no luck. I remeber something about a sequence of turning the key and hooking and unhooing the seat belt but i dont remember.

Any help, its an 08.

i believe some tuners allow u to do this. i know its apples n oranges, but my boss has a 6.4 stroke with an sct tuner n he turned off the chime.

 

I used my H&S to turn it off, I know that doesn't help but-

 

If I remember you Start with the key off and belt buckled. Then turn the key to the run position and disconnected and connect the belt 10 times in 30 seconds. I did mine along time ago if you have the owners manual it's in there.

 

08RAM, did that turn the light off as well or just the chime. Mini maxx only turns off chime, red light stays on. would think if there was a factory override it would shut light off as well.

 

That only does the chime.

 

my truck had a seatbuckle in the midle of the bench and i just cut the buckle of the rope and plugged it into the buckle on the drivers side but thats an 09 ford

 

my 07 had a procedure in the owners manual u had to follow but it left the light on the dash all the time which didnt bother me cause the chime is annoying

 

Yep, only the chime.. worth it though
