had the oil changed and they dropped my tire pressure from 67 to 42 and the light came back on. Putting leveling kit and 35s on in a couple weeks so i'm going to wait and check it again, i'm wondering if 20" wheels make any difference, wouldn't think so if the sensor was picking it up at 67lbs.

doesnt matter what size tire or wheel you have on your truck, the computer is set to the pressure listed on the side of you door. i have a 09 and its set for 80 psi (which means anything under a 10 ply tire) the light will come on and stay on. i put 315s (8 ply) 50psi and i cant keep the light off. took it in for a oil change and the service mger told was set to the computer. i even trying letting the air out of the spare to 50psi so that all 5 be the same and didnt work! you find another way let me know

i was thinking more along the lines of the distance between where the sensor and receiver(s) are, no idea where the signal from the sensor is picked up.
Anyone know>> does the sensor send a signal of the pressure OR a good/bad signal. If the signal is just good/bad you could probably cheat it by getting a set that are in a diffrent pressure range.

There's a way to trick the truck....
Take the stock air valves, get a piece of pipe, and install the 4 monitor's in the pipe, so it looks like it has the 4 monitor's installed, like valve stem's in the wheels...
Drill/tap a hole in one end cap, put a presssure ga. there, so you can see what the pipe pressure is...
Other end, drill/tap and put an air fill bung in. Pressurize the pipe like you would a tire, spray with soapy water, get rid of any leaks, once you have it sealed up right and will hold pressure, air up to 75 psi or whatever, and stick said pipe under the seat.
Kind of hack... but a buddy of mine did it with his ford, and it works perfect. No more tpms light on, and he's got his aftermarket 22's on the truck, and runs about 45 psi in the tires, and it's happy.
I'm sure this would work with dodge, chevy, any car with a tpms system on it actually.
Someone should just start selling a setup like that... I'd bet that it would sell like mad
