head gasket...most likley im on my fith one now .....is coolant bubling in the resivoir?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

i just fire ringed mine last weekend and im having a problem..i think htere is an air pocket in the overflow hose.. it will push air into the bottle but not enough to make it around the loop in the bottom of the bottle to let the air out and when the truck cools down it will suck the air back in the line and level out the coolant

If it is bubbling in the resevoir after the truck is shut off then it sounds like the head gasket but you could be luck and it is just the rad cap.if you take off the over flow line that goes from you rad to you over flow tank and put it in a clear jug of water.Start the truck and let it run.if you see bubbles in the water you have a head gasket that needs to be replaced.

would that not be just the same as the line going to the resivoir?...i mean if it bubbles the resiovoir its gonna bubble the water
