I have a '07 quad cab 6.7. 1st diesel, wished i'd bought one sooner. Just lost my dpf exhaust system, so I replaced it with an h&s system and now it purrs like a lion (money well spent). Also put on a fass system (money well wasted). Last night I got a dtc u2579, does anyone have a clue what it is? Thanks!

Default u2579

Thanks for the reply Arizona Redneck. The u 2579 is what my xrt showed me, I went ahead erased it and it did not pop back up after I started the engine. My research has produced very little but the letter u stands for undefined according to a few websites. The letter p is for powertrain, b-body, and c-chassis. The numbers have meanings also but the 25 does not match any explanation that I have found. I assume you're from AZ, been there a few times, a beautiful state. Later.

U2500 (CAN) Lack of Acknowledgement From Engine Management

This was all I could find, so perhaps it has something to do with the deletes.

Howdy! Usually I'd say you're gonna like it here, but this thread already gives you reason to! Anyway, welcome to Diesel Bombers!
